GAR – Governor’s Authorized Representative. Acts on the Governor’s behalf in all matters supporting the State (New Mexico) effort to respond to and recover from a disaster.
GIS – Geographic Information System
Groundwater – water beneath the earth’s surface in the spaces between soil particle and rock surfaces (Compare with surface water).
